
The Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB) has officially opened applications for school feeding and cleaning service vendors to work in its Smart Green Schools across the state.
This recruitment exercise is part of the Enugu State Government’s ongoing efforts to improve student welfare, hygiene, and learning conditions in public basic schools across all 260 political wards.
Available Service Categories
ENSUBEB is currently recruiting vendors in two key service areas:
1. School Feeding Vendors
Vendors under this category will be responsible for preparing and supplying meals to pupils in designated Smart Green Schools.
Applicants must demonstrate:
Proven experience in catering or school feeding services
Medical fitness clearance for food-handling staff
Ability to deliver safe, hygienic, and nutritious meals
Proper knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
2. Cleaning and Sanitation Vendors
This category focuses on cleaning, sanitation, and general hygiene maintenance of school environments.
Applicants must show:
Experience in cleaning or sanitation services
Access to trained personnel and basic cleaning equipment
Capacity to maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards
General Requirements for All Applicants
All interested vendors must:
Have relevant experience in the chosen service category
Be able to operate within their assigned political ward
Be an indigene and resident of the ward where the Smart Green School is located
Comply with all ENSUBEB/SUBEB operational guidelines
Submit only one application (multiple submissions will lead to disqualification)
Note: This recruitment is strictly ward-based.
Interview Details
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a physical interview as follows:

Date: Thursday, 5th February 2026
Time: 10:00 AM prompt
