DSSC 29/2026 Selection Board Date and Reporting Time

Clothing and Personal Effects

  • Two pairs of white shorts

  • Two pairs of white vests

  • One pair of canvas shoes or trainers

  • Three pairs of white socks

  • Bucket and toiletries

  • A set of cutleries (plate, cup, spoon)

  • Bedding items including blankets, bedsheets, mosquito net, and pillowcases

Mandatory Documents Required at the Venue

Candidates must present originals and photocopies of the following documents neatly arranged in a flat file jacket:

  • Primary and secondary school certificates

  • Academic and professional certificates

  • NYSC certificate or exemption letter

  • Birth certificate or age declaration endorsed by:

    • National Population Commission (NPC), or

    • Recognized hospital, or

    • Local Government Council

  • State of origin certificate

  • Printed BVN certificate authenticated by the candidate’s bank

  • Printed copies of application form and referee forms from the recruitment portal

Additional Requirements for Serving Personnel Only

Serving military personnel shortlisted for DSSC 29/2026 must also present:

  1. Official leave pass

  2. Military identity card

  3. Letter of sponsorship to tertiary academic institution

  4. Letter of recommendation from commanding officer or commander
