KASU Releases Official Notice for 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony
The schedule for the 2025–2026 Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted undergraduate and graduate students has been formally released by Kaduna State University (KASU).
The Office of the Registrar announced the news in a Special Bulletin on February 4, 2026, inviting the public and members of the university community to observe the official admission of new students to the school.
Invitation by the Vice-Chancellor
The bulletin states that the Governing Council, Management, Senate, staff, students, and the general public are invited to the matriculation ceremony of the 2025–2026 academic session by Professor Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, PhD (Emporia, USA), MLA (ABU), MBA (BUK), and BL (BUK), Vice-Chancellor of Kaduna State University.
Main Campus Matriculation Details
The matriculation ceremony for students of the Main Campus is scheduled as follows:
Date: Monday, 9th February, 2026
Time: 10:00 am
Venue: 1000-Seat Auditorium, Main Campus
Kafanchan Campus Matriculation Details
For students of the Kafanchan Campus, the matriculation ceremony will take place on a different date:
Date: Wednesday, 11th February, 2026
Time: 11:00 am
Venue: 500-Seat Auditorium, Kafanchan Campus
Collection of Academic Gowns
The administration of the university has instructed that:
- For the collection of academic gowns, undergraduate students should get in touch with their individual colleges and faculties.
- Academic gowns for postgraduate students should be picked up from Room 7 of the College of Postgraduate Studies on the Main Campus in Kaduna.
In order to prevent delays on the day of the ceremony, students are urged to adhere precisely to these directions.
