Admission Requirements

General Requirements (O’Level / SSC)

● Candidates seeking admission must possess one of the following qualifications obtained in not more than two sittings:

● Senior School Certificate (SSC) from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) or National Examinations Council (NECO)

● General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O’Level)

● Grade II Teachers Certificate

● National Technical Certificate (NTC) from the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB)

● Any other qualification considered equivalent by the University Senate

Note: A credit pass in mathematics is compulsory for all science-based programs.

Direct Entry (DE) Requirements

● Candidates must apply through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

● Some programs may require candidates to sit for and pass a screening examination.

● Applicants must have at least three credit passes, including English Language and two relevant subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings.

● National Diploma (ND) in a relevant field with at least Upper Credit or Credit from accredited institutions (Polytechnics, Monotechnics, Colleges of Education, or Colleges for Legal Studies approved by NBTE.

● Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Certificate.

Generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR):
Generate your RRR directly on the portal before making payment.

Pay the non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000.00 (two thousand naira) using:

  • Any Commercial Bank
  • Debit Card (Online Payment)

Complete the Screening Form:
Carefully follow the on-screen instructions to fill out the Post-UTME Screening Form.
